What materials do you use/need?
It depends on the subject at hand. For language learning, there is a great deal of variety in terms of classroom teaching methods and personal learning objectives, so a standard set of books for learning and practice doesn't really apply. I've developed many of my own practice materials to cover universally important concepts in both Spanish and French. For standardized test prep, I have specific textbooks that have proven effective in my experience. I already own the necessary books for each course that I offer, but I may suggest that you buy your own copies if you wish to practice thoroughly on your own. For mathematics, a preview of relevant topics a couple days before each session should suffice.
What is your payment/ cancellation policy?
All sessions can be cancelled 2 days in advance without charge, or the day before with a 50 percent charge. Any session cancelled on the same day or no-shows will be charged in full, with case-by-case exceptions for emergency circumstances.

Payments for all sessions are due within 24 hours of the session start time.
Can you tutor at our home?
Possibly, but highly dependent upon your location! Check out this map for an idea, but contact me to confirm!​​​
Could you teach more than one person in a session?
Certainly! I have experience with both classroom and virtual group instruction, and per-student discounts are available for combined sessions!
Do you provide homework?
My teaching philosophy revolves around targeted practice of skills, whether that be through structured review or self-guided practice. I have developed useful practice materials to implement for all subjects, and I am happy to assign materials if desired. For language learning, I can also provide fun recommendations for music, films and the like.
Do you do AP exam tutoring?
Yes - for AB and BC Calculus, Spanish Language and French Language/Culture!
Can you teach any other subjects?
Possibly! In addition to the subjects mentioned on the home page, I have extensively studied geography, history and politics throughout my life. If you have something like an AP Human Geography exam or a political science university course to get through, I may be able to help you out for a custom rate.
